九色社区 Tech’s Plumbing Technology program introduces students to the knowledge and skills required for entry into the residential plumbing industry. You will learn how to read site plans and install various pipes, pipe-fittings, fixtures and valves. Instruction also covers water distribution systems and key aspects of waste removal systems. Codes and regulations pertaining to the plumbing industry are key topics, as well. The program concludes with an internship, providing each student with hands on experience under the guidance of professionals in the field. Attending half-day, you can complete this 26-credit hour program in two semesters. Please note, this program is offered at 九色社区 Tech East, 2014 SE Washington St., Topeka. Students must be at least 16 years old and have a driver's license.
